PentagonLight proudly presents the R-Series, the Induction Rechargeable series. This new breed of rechargeable lights does not need external contacts for charging, therefore, eliminating all the shortcomings and problems described earlier. The internal coil conducts magnetically with the coil in the “Volcano Charger”, transmitting power through thin air. Without external contacts, no grabbing arms are needed, no need to plug it in at a certain angle, no need to match up the contact points, no waterproofing problem, no mechanical deterioration, safer, quicker, and easier. Charging is as easy as dropping the light into the 'Volcano Charger'. Taking out is as easy as putting the light in.

The R20 features Impactor, a ring of sharpened spikes for breaking windows and other surfaces, with a head protector that can be lowered in one quick turn to reveal the spikes. The Impactor is also a tactical option for law enforcement officers when hand-to-hand mele is unavoidable. The spikes are super hard anodized in compliance with Type III Military specifications against abrasion. The head protector when raised prevents those spikes from causing accidental damages when not in use, and fits 1.5" front caps, such as F3 for altering light beam color.

On the back of the R20 is a high power ultra-violet (UV) LED. UV is useful for revealing watermarks on drivers licenses, polymer threads in currency papers, holograms on credit cards, official notes, and security documents. This UV light is a perfect companion for any law enforcement officer.

Shock! Disorientor rapidly strobes the light at high brightness for disorienting and blinding the opponents. A separate momentary-only button that can be instantly activated at anytime whether the light is on, or off, or at a low setting. Shock! makes strobing practical for tactical applications since it does not require mode setting first or pressing multiple times to activate it. Timing is a critical element of surprise in any tactic.
