TSS is designed for use in SUV's primarily and the various models are designed to accommodate medium and full size. Depending on the seat arrangement the driver wishes to maintain, various depths are available to make use of available space. A TSS module can be secured to the floor of an SUV with the mounting plates provided. If this is not feasible or desired then it is recommended that at minimum a cable lock be used to secure the module in place.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT TSS MODULE FOR YOUR SPORT UTILITY VEHICLE
Measure between your wheel wells and then decide how far from the rear tailgate towards the front of the vehicle you want to dedicate to your TSS unit. Depending on your vehicle make and model you may have to remove one of more seats to accommodate the largest model. If you wish to have the use of all your seats then our short version would be the correct model. With TSS you decide and then choose from our standard models. The last decision is to choose a drawer height to suit your needs . Keep in mind that in some vehicles you may need to remove the jack from its storage area and place inside the drawer of your TSS for easy access. Remember, TSS modules can be easily removed from your vehicle. Other products require a permanent installation and that limits the vehicle for seasonal use.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT TSS MODEL FOR YOUR PICKUP TRUCK.
TSS is designed for an interior installation. Our standard models maximum length is 60'' and width is 48". A TSS module is not designed to create a second floor in the truck bed. Rather it is designed to mount in the truck either on a permanent basis or provide the ability to install and remove based on the season and the need. It is lighter weight than other makes because of the aluminum construction and will help with the payload capacity of your truck as well as improve gas mileage. It is built to withstand significant weight on top without hampering its operation. The tie downs come in handy for securing additional payload on top.
